Self-Esteem Self-Empowerment Class (Non Profit)
Time: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM
Location: Mercy Center for Women
The program includes lecture, support, and open discussion to examine strategies for improving self-esteem and increase personal power. Topics covered include becoming in touch with feelings through self-talk, real self versus self-image, acting assertively to gain respect from others, what is masking and how to stop masking, how to self-nurture, a way out of perfectionism, learning stress management techniques, positive mental attitude, why change is hard, and exploring personal expectations.Emphasis of the program is placed on teaching self-acceptance, releasing guilt, and learning to enjoy life by changing attitudes and expectations. The program is designed for women who struggle with self-esteem and assertiveness issues and strive to explore and improve their self-esteem and empower themselves. The Self-Esteem/Self-Empowerment program for women is open to the public. Registration is required along with a $30.00 fee to cover programming costs and class materials.

11th Annual Light the Night Walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (Fund Raisers)

The 1.5 mile parade helps support our mission to raise funds to cure leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma while improving the quality of life of patients and their families.
